This textile collection was knitted on the STOLL machine. Inspired by the modular and tactile nature of feathers from the wild turkeys in the Sinkyone Wilderness Park I used the the technical knit structures of floats, flaps, and ottomans to express the visual effect of layered feathers. By using different structures, materials and finishing processes I hope to showcase the dynamic nature of feathers.
