This woven sample collection was programmed on the software program Weavepoint 7, and woven on a floor DOBBY loom. These textiles incorporate structures such as floats, monk's belt, tertiary weft, and many others as well as a variety of materials. Inspired by the Japanese festival Obon, color and structural integration were built on existing practice and imagery around this custom.
