This page is dedicated to how I explored capacitive touch in textiles through my note taking of different things I was / am reading (whether that be from school or in my personal time).
"REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL" by Clive Dilnot
When I was reading "Reason's to Be Cheerful" by Clive Dilnot for a class in my Master's program I was intrigued by the idea of humanity and how it was "flexible" within society. Looking to explore that I wanted to create a tangible interaction that would express this fluidity. Taking drawings I made in my notes I breadboarded a force sensitive resistor (FSR) but rather then using an FSR I used conductive thread that I sewed onto a textile I wove. I then connected this to the visual software Processing which imitated the graphs from my notes.
